Nursery: Assessment & Bath

Once we leave the L&D room and Jodi is headed to her postpardum room, Ethan was off to the Nursery for his assessment and bath. This is daddy's time to shine! I got to spend time with Ethan over the next couple of hours as he got poked and proded under the warmer. He was measured, had his vital signs taken every 30 minutes, had his blood sugar checked twice, given a Hepatitus B vaccine, and given a thorough examination by one of our pediatricians. I was there to capture the memories, and soak it in. Here are a few of my favorite pictures for this time.
