The last couple of weeks when we have gone to Montgomeryville (a town about 6 miles from us) we have stopped at the Babies R' Us. Our first trip was to order our crib and changing table and we also bought our travel system (this was a gift from Jim's mom Marilyn). We put the travel system together in the last 5 minutes of the National Championship game (ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), so I have proposed that this will be our activity of choice whenever the Jayhawks make the championship game...buy a new travel system and put it together for good luck. :)
This last week we took several gift cards we recieved and went to Target & Walmart to get a few things off of our registry as well as to start stocking up on diapers. A good friend gave us the advice that everytime you go to the store during pregnancy you should get a pack of diapers so that it doesn't hit you after the baby is born... I thought this was very wise...hense the diapers which we got with our Walmart gift card. Here is a picture of what we got! Thanks to all who contributed!
Our furniture has arrived and we are picking it up today so stay tuned for assembly pictures.

The good friend of yours has an excellent point. And how great to have the whole travel system! When I had Drew, it was a car seat and separate stroller. It was unheard of to snap the car seat onto the stroller. Great advancements in baby technology! Can't wait to see the new furniture. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS! (Good to see Sprout will be wearing the right team colors, too!)

What a great haul! The travel system looks so practical and cute. Good choice. The diaper advice was such a good one! Look around for sales too and you can't go wrong with stocking up on wipes too. Miss you.
