We took a long weekend over Father's Day to go to Cape May, NJ. We rented a house from a family at church. It was a great weekend!
We spent our first day at the Cape May Zoo. The boys had a great time. Noah got to take a train ride. and push the stroller...We spent 2 mornings at the beach. Hard work for Mommy and Daddy but the boys loved it. Noah isn't much for the water- he was quite fearful of the waves. Ethan on the other hand loved the water and I spent a lot of time standing in the waves with him. They both loved playing in the sand we just had to watch Ethan like a hawk since he thought it was also a good snack. :) Another highlight of our trip was a Dolphin cruise. Happy Father's Day Daddy! We had a lot of fun watching the dolphins swim beside our boat and jump in our wake. We took a surrey ride one afternoon - loads of fun for everyone and a good workout for Mommy and Daddy! This was the house we stayed at. Family picture in Ocean City - our lunch stop on the way home. Serious conversations...
Goat feeding at the zoo was a hit.
Noah was pretty sure that vacation and beach are the same thing. Here's the inquisition that always takes us in circles with a cough at the end to remind us all that this also accompanied us on vacation. I can't tell you how many humidifiers we've bought on trips.... you'd think we'd learn our lesson.
