Our niece, Katie came for a visit last week. We had a great time with her! It was so good to get to know her better. Jim and Katie went to New York City together one day - they saw "Phantom of the Opera" and explored the city. We also went to Philadelphia one day. We went to the zoo and to the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall. Noah loved having Katie here. He was so sad on Wednesday, the day after she arrived, when she wasn't there (in NYC that day).
Noah's "scared face." It is funny how one day they are fearless and the next day they are scared of unclear noises and things. I suppose this is all related to their development but is something we have never had to deal with.
The polar bear was the highlight of the day. He stood on this cliff for awhile and Noah kept telling it to jump in the water - he's getting bossy too! :) Eventually the bear actually did dive into the pool which was quite thrilling for Noah.
