August

So I don't know what I was doing in August but I wasn't taking pictures... We did get some videos which probably give you a better idea of how Noah is developing. What a great age! I think I've said that at about every stage so I guess that is good! :) Noah is starting to develop his language skills and it is really funny to hear him try to mimic. Walking has also opened a whole new world to him which is a little scary for Mom & Dad!

The first video is of Noah learning how to whisper - sometimes this works great and sometimes he just ignores and continues to yell. Oh well - at least it works sometimes! :)

The fruit this summer was so great for Noah as he began his adventures with real food. He loved peaches! He would eat and eat and eat peaches. Double fisting handfuls of peaches was not an unusual observation!

Noah is really funny when he's waking up and you never know what he's going to say when you walk into his room. We've been trying to get him to say "mama" and "dada" and obviously we've been pointing to ourselves a lot.... You'll hear other words here too such as "ball," "juice (word for food and drink)," & "uh oh."

The deck has been wonderful for Noah. He loves being outside and he can be out on a solid, flat surface and we don't have to worry about him eating leaves, rocks, dirt, etc! He is also enjoying his golf clubs - he carries them all over the deck while he chases Thumper! :)
