Easter

Our Easter Sunday started bright and early with sunrise service at church. All 3 of us went and it was a very nice service - There is nothing like bringing in a joyful Easter morning outside in the brisk cool air - anticipating the sun rising on the horizon.

Pictures before church. This is Noah with his prayer shawl which was made for him for his dedication.

As I had said in an earlier post our family was auctioned off for Easter dinner - this meant that whoever won the bid paid to have us over for Easter dinner (not our idea :) ). We were quite honored to be invited over to Doug & Norma Hockman's house. We had a wonderful meal with their family - it is such a blessing to have our Blooming Glen family away from our own family. It makes being away from our own family a little easier.
Doug & his brother own a dairy farm and they sell milk from a glass bottle - how cool is that? The milk is wonderful - and that is coming from someone who isn't that excited about milk! After lunch they showed us around the farm and so Noah got his first up close and personal interaction with cows - he wasn't too sure about it but did ok, I'm sure he'll soon love "big dogs" as much as he likes little dogs.
